Welcome to ICCOSS XX

The ICCOSS meetings were founded in 1967 by Gerhard Schmidt (Weizmann Institute) and George Adler (Brookhaven National Laboratories) and have established themselves as a unique international forum for discussions of the chemistry of the organic solid state. Some previous meetings have been held in Jerusalem (1993), Stony Brook (1997), Mainz (2001) and Los Angeles (2005). ICCOSS XX will be held for the first time in India at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, between 26 and 30 June, 2011. As in past ICCOSS meetings, ICCOSS XX will provide an exciting forum for reporting recent progress in all aspects of organic solid state chemistry

Institute of Science and Technology Austria

The institute currently consists of 51 research groups and is expected to grow to about ninety research groups by 2026. Its graduate school offers an interdisciplinary doctoral program in the life, formal and physical sciences. As of June 2017, 127 students were enrolled.
